British Tomato Week
Monday 17th until Sunday 23rd
Join us during British Tomato Week to learn how to grow your own sweet, juicy tomatoes, including how to plant them in hanging baskets, pots or grow bags.
We will have displays of tomato plants and the products and equipment you might need to grow them.
Our staff will be on hand throughout the week to give visitors top tips on selecting, planting and growing their own tomatoes and you can pick up a free 'How to Grow Tomatoes' advice leaflet, while stocks last.
For Gardening Club members there will also be a special offer available from Thursday 20th May until Friday 28th, while stocks last - For £10 you can buy a tomato growing starter kit, which includes a Scotts Levington Tomorite 50L Planter, Scotts Levington 1L Tomorite and three tomato plants in 9cm pots from a selection of varieties priced at £1.29 per plant.

National Insect Week
Monday 21st until Sunday 27th
Come and join us to find out how to encourage insects and other wildlife into your garden. Bees especially are in real danger - learn how to help them.

Monday 18th until Sunday 31st
Join us as we help raise awareness of the RSPB’s Feed the Birds Day. Find out how to attract wild birds into your garden and pick up tips on how to feed and look after our feathered friends.
